Answers for your move.

Is a deposit required?

We do not require a deposit to book our moving services.  We simply bill the move at the end of the job.  We do have a cancellation fee for moves canceled within 48 hours of the move time, but if the move is canceled more than 48 hours before the start of the move there is no penalty.  All we ask is that you let us know as soon as you need to cancel so we have time to fill the slot.

When do I pay for the move?

You pay for the move when the move is finished. We accept cards, checks, cash, or Venmo for payment. There is a 3.5% processing fee if you choose to pay by card.

 

How is the total cost calculated?

There is a two-hour minimum, but anytime over the minimum is charged in 15-minute increments. The clock starts when we leave dispatch and stops when we returns after the move. The hourly rate is all-inclusive, so it covers blankets, wrap, insurance, tax, etc.

 

Should I tip my movers?

You are not required to tip, but it is certainly appreciated.  Our crews receive tips that average around 10-20% of the move total.  You can tip with cash, or you can have the tip added to your total bill.  You can give your tip directly to the movers, or we can split the tip evenly amongst the movers if it is added to the total bill.
